Magnetic Direct Drive

Magnetic Drives offer advantages in comparison to regular spindle-based technologies when it comes to wear and dynamics. The drive uses few mechanical components as possible, resulting in less friction and backlash which enables more precision.

Piezo Walk Drive

Piezo Walk® Drives meets the need for position resolution, reliability, and long term stability. Developed originally for the semiconductor industry this technology can be operated to perform very small walking and feed motions, which results in a high motion resolution of far below one nanometer.

Piezo Motor Drives

There are two main principal Piezo Motor Drives Technologies we offer. The Piezo Inertia Drives are compact and inexpensive piezo-based drives with high holding forces up to 10 N offering medium travel range. The Ultrasonic Piezo Motors Drives are particularly suitable for applications that require fast precision positioning.

Piezo Actuators

A Piezo Actuator boosts great drive properties with up to several hundred micrometers in travel range, unlimited resolution (in principle) and high force generation and dynamics with very high stiffness as well as several hundred kilohertz of high resonant frequency which gives rapid response time in the microsecond range. Adding a flexure guide enables the actuator to increases stiffness, lead capacity, wear resistance and travel range

Parallel Kinematics (multi-axis) Piezo Positioning System are compact with actuators that move directly on a single platform compared to serial stacked or nested systems.
